| The Kontron OM9060 Gateway platform provides an accelerated entry into ATCA technology for communication systems that are targeted for applications that need to convert control traffic and media traffic between TDM and IP networks with the highest degree of availability. The OM9060 architecture supports two redundant hubs and two redundant main controllers. Media processors, application engines and protocol engines may be operated as multiprocessor systems in 2x redundant or a N+1 redundant configuration. The OM9060 Media is available with Linux 2.6 and is fully pre-integrated and pre-tested. The media processing engines are comprised of signal processor AMC modules and processor AMC modules as controllers on an ATCA carrier blade. TDM interfaces are also provided as AMCs on an ATCA carrier together with processor AMCs to process the higher protocol layers.
