The chipDISK-ADA1 adaptor in 2.5" footprint allows to use chipDISK exchangeable data storage devices together with 2.5" and 3.5" harddrives like HDD or DVD-drives.

Being equipped with both 40 and 2x 44 pin IDE interface, 2.5" and 3.5" harddrives can be connected as well as a CD or DVD-ROM drive. Either used as an embedded 2.5" harddrive replacement or used as exchangeable storage device surface mounted - simply break away the small lid and it is ready for surface mounting.

This adaptor avoids a lot of headaches as many hardware developers did quote.
