A new PCB format anticipates the appearance of industrial tablet computing: in the next few weeks - at first announcement, the first prototypes werde promised for March 2012 - Kontron will deliver initial examples of its new embedded processing, computer-on-module standard. Kontron designed the new boards as a vehicle for its entry into use of ARM-based processing platforms, and has defined a new computer-on-module format that it will use as the basis for a low-power embedded computing product range.
