Kontron offers perfectly designed systems solutions for embedded real-time applications; we deliver Top-of-the-Line embedded systems for railways, public transportation and rail & traffic control.

Our Kontron Transportation Business Division has specialized in embedded computing solutions for critical applications in the transportation field, including train management systems (TMS), tilting control, and public transportation systems. COTS (Commercial Off The Shelf) products are also successfully used in other industries with similar high-demanding requirements, like defence and medical applications.

All our systems are assembled, tested and supported by our highly skilled team of engineers based in Brussels; they have extensive experience in real-time OS and developing operating environments to support VxWorks, pSOS+, VRTXsa, Windows and Linux. We provide EN50155 certifications for complete embedded control systems in railway applications that tolerate temperature range of -40°C to +85°C, and can offer conformal coating and ruggedized versions.

Kontron Transportation works with selected partners to offer our clients complete solutions, making sure that standards (ISO9001, EN50155, etc.) are strictly adhered to. We also organize regular audit checks to ensure the quality of all our parts.
